At CraftLabs, safeguarding your intellectual property is paramount to us. Every drawing, sketch or file you submit to our platform is meticulously protected. We ensure complete security by storing all digital assets, including models and drawings on AWS servers, adding an extra layer of protection for your invaluable intellectual property.

Upon placing your order, only the designated provider responsible for manufacturing your part gains access to it's drawings. All workshops within our network are bound by contractual agreements to uphold the confidentiality of your IP.

What type of file formats do you accept?

Accepted Answer

You can upload a variety of CAD file formats including STEP, STP, SLDPRT, STL, OBJ, IPT, 3DXML, CATPART, PTC, PRT, SAT and DXF, among others. Additionally, you can also submit PDF files for technical drawings.

Can CraftLabs 3D print metal?

Yes and a variety of them, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and more. We also offer a variety of metal 3D printing processes depending on your project needs.

Does CraftLabs have any hidden costs or subscriptions?

No. CraftLabs is free to use to get online quotes. There are no recurring charges for using CraftLabs services.

I need to reverse engineer my part. can CraftLabs make a CAD file for me according to my specifications?

We specialise in offering 3D scanning services but depending on your project we can recommend a qualified CAD engineer to design files for you.
